Map where they appear
Note whether sightings are in bathrooms, kitchens or storage. Check for visible moisture issues and report leaks; an insect sighting alone does not diagnose a hidden building defect.
Review storage conditions
Keep paper goods and textiles organised so the affected area can be inspected. Avoid blocking ventilation when attempting to close suspected entry points.
If sightings continue
Share the record with an appropriate professional. Discuss moisture, harbourage and whether treatment is necessary in addition to maintenance.
